Community in Action
Strong households build strong communities
Kaya Development Organization empowers women, children and youth in vulnerable circumstances — through education, health, life skills and economic opportunity — so that households can stand on their own.
A society with equitable opportunities where women, children, and youth living in vulnerable circumstances are empowered with educational, health, and economic capacity to become self-reliant and contribute to sustainable development.
Why we are called Kaya
The name KAYA symbolizes the household, family, and the foundation of community life. It represents the place where life begins, challenges are experienced, and real transformation starts. Development reflects our commitment to sustainable progress through education, health, life skills, and economic empowerment.
